41. GUIDELINES TO SAFEPACKAGING 1) Parts should be cleaned and free from fingerprints. Fingerprints are very corrosive. Pack the clean product as quickly as possible. 2) Coated side (Green side) should face the metal to be protected. 3) Nothing to be placed between the products and the coated side of VCI wrapper. e.g. A metal product should not be packed in Polythene Bag and then covered with VCI Paper. Check that there is free exposure of VCI to all critical areas to be protected.
