  4. 4. How’s Army Life Treating You? Your Senior Leaders want to know. Army Family Action Plan (AFAP) is our tool to voice your issues to Army leadership. It alerts them to areas of concern and allows them the opportunity to quickly put action plans into place to work toward resolving your issues. Fort Rucker needs volunteers for this years AFAP Conference. Want to participate in a workgroup to resolve submitted issues? Then you can volunteer as a Delegate. Not sure you want to jump in with both feet, how about volunteering as an Issue Support volunteer? This volunteer looks through past submitted issues to make sure the workgroup isn’t addressing an issue that has already been worked in a recent, past AFAP Conference. There are all kinds of ways to support the Fort Rucker AFAP Conference. Successful Fort Rucker AFAP Issues (Resolved):  Commissary Bagger Employment Opportunities for military youth  CYSS Special Needs Staffing and Training  Customer Handicap parking at Bldg. 5700  Pest Control in Fort Rucker Housing  Length of Time to Receive VA Disability Rating Contact Barbara Throckmorton, Fort Rucker AFAP Program Manager to participate in this year’s conference — B.throckmorton@us.army.mil or (334) 255-2382.
