This letter is a request from the BS Electrical Engineering Program at Northwestern University to the llocos Norte Electric Cooperative to accept four of their students for a 240-hour internship. The internship is a required part of the course for students to gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering. The letter asks if the cooperative can accommodate the students for internship during the months of April and May and includes a Memorandum of Agreement for review. Our BS Electrical Engineering Program requires that students under the subject lnternship should
undergo on -the-job training to complete the course. The program is aimed at sending students in
the actual field of Electrical Engineering in order for them to apply all their basic knowledge in the
subject.
We have considered your respected company as a possible and appropriate training ground of our
students. ln this regard, may we inquire if you can accommodate our four (4) students to be
deployed in your office to finish 240 hours training.
We are hoping that they can complete their training for the whole months of April and May, if your
schedule with them would permit. Mr. Sherwin Dela Cruz, lnternship Adviser will monitor the
progress of the students during the training.
Herewith attached is the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) being used for the On-the-Job training
of students for your review and execution upon approval of the same.
