Jesus demonstrated what it means to serve others and the early Church demonstrated what it means to serve each other. If we call ourselves Christians, then we become servants to others.

1. If one of these people were Jesus,

2. Servant-consciousness
Acts 4:29-35
Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak
your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and
perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant
Jesus.”
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God
boldly.
All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any
of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they
had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the
resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at
work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For
from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them,
brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and
it was distributed to anyone who had need.

3. I am your servant2 Corinthians 4:5
For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord,
and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

4. Wheat & Weeds Together
Matthew 13:24-30
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man
who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping,
his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also
appeared.
“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good
seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
“‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.
“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
“‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may
uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest.
At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie
them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into
my barn.’”
