Hi, Rick Salas here and I really wanted to stress how to interact with your coaching clients and what works best for you. This slideshare goes into detail on how to do it.
How To Interact With Your Coaching Clients - What Works Best For You
1. How to Interact With Your Coaching Clients – What Works Best For You ?
Hi, Rick Salas here and showing you how to interact with your coaching clients is a top priority of mine.
You’ll get a good idea of what works best for you, now and for a long time into the future. You won’t waste time and money on something that might not work and get started on generating more long term income that grows, that you control and that you can choose to have more time doing things you enjoy in life.
You can choose only what you want to train on, what you find your target market needs and how to go about it. With that being said lets start with….
2. Instant Chat Interaction
With instant chat, if you want to available most of the day, they are able to get a response almost immediately.
They will have to be at their computer or anyway they can to communicate through instant chat and that’s a great way to interact with your clients. It’s great for a lot of people but to tell you the truth, for me, I don’t like it because I’m on the go and cant be by computer all day.
But if your instant chat has a way to hold messages, then it could work as an email interaction. But with email you won’t be loosing your focus on checking your instant chat messages. You might have an email interaction that you can place restrictions on.
Like maybe certain times you work. Maybe from 9 to 5 and you can answer all emails in the morning when you start your work day. With instant chat you kind of promise to be around your computer all day and squeeze in your responses between other things you may be doing.
3. Email Interaction
With email they can get your response fast but not as fast as instant chat. Remember that with instant chat you probably have chosen that form of interaction because you can be available most of the day.
With email, you have probably chosen that form of interaction because you want to be available at certain hours of the day.
You can respond almost immediately but not at all hours of the day. What I like about it is that you can place restrictions on your email interaction.
Remember that you can switch it up when ever you want to.
You can target a demographic that likes email communication and switch to any of these others at anytime. Just involve your clients in the decision.
4. Telephone Interaction
With telephone interaction people are able to get more out of the experience and get more results. They can hear what parts you are stressing by the tone of your voice.
You might only want to be available when you for two hours in the morning or 3 hours in the evening but the best part is, you choose if you want to get on the telephone.
So the hours are going to be limited but your clients will get the experience by physically talking to you.
You can use it for coaching one on one or group coaching. They get a better experience. Just price it in a way that reflects that interaction. You choose.
5. Forum Interaction
If you choose to interact in your own forum or maybe a private blog, you really should think about the value of doing that as a way to interact with your clients.
It’s great when your business has grown and you have a lot of interaction there but there’s going to be less interaction when starting out.
There’s going to be less interaction because they are going to be advised to read through the answers posted there and if they can’t find the answer then you have have them interact with you in one other form.
It’s best, in my opinion to have a lot of clients before you do forum interaction because you want questions to be answer by other people so that you can have more free time with so many clients.
6. But make sure the post answers are correct and if not answer them yourself and consider adjusting the price down because they will have less time with you because they have to go through a bank of
information first. The forums can be a great way to leverage interaction though. If the price for your coaching is in line with the interaction they get.
One on One Coaching Interaction
One thing good about one on one interaction is that you can charge more and deliver a high level experience to you clients.
You can do one on one easily and what I like about it is that once you learn how to sell a consultation, you can focus on the challenges they have. What you do is find out what they need help with first and think about how much time it would take to teach that solution.
Depending on what you’re charging, and if you are in a high ticket program or not, you should plan to grow into because you’re selling You, you figure how much of your time it will take and charge what the results are worth.
7. Not how much material you will cover. Make sure you give them what they need and no more. If you give them information on things they don’t need right now, and they are paying for the one on one, it’s going to cost them more and get them less results. You want them to buy over and over because you guided them in a way that gets results every time they apply what you taught.
Group Coaching Interaction
Group coaching is a good way to go, especially as your business grows. Your one on one coaching sessions will grow so you really want to plan a way to work efficiently.
I think it’s always best to leverage your time as you grow, so if you feel comfortable on the phone, you can get more clients working more, make more money by putting in the same time you are putting in now or make have more time freedom by working less.
Once you get more one on one clients that you can handle, you can leverage the time you spend by getting everybody on a group call for two hours a week.
8. By teaching on the phone you can get them what they need and answer any questions they may have on the training.
You can also ask if they have any questions that are not on the topic you just taught about so that you are actually giving them a chance to get your highest level of one on one coaching with you.
And at a lower price because group coaching is leveraging the time you can charge for more clients and at lower price. You also add your one on one coaching clients into it for a lower price.
They will love that. You will also love it if you need to spend less time delivering your coaching to more people.
When learning how to interact with your coaching clients, remember that there are many programs that already have the training materials, what they teach, already ready to go.
Make sure you clients learn what is important in growing their business. Not other peoples.
9. What gets the faster results so that they don’t have to spend more on a coaching program then they need. Set them free to go on their own.
I believe it’s best to find out what people need help with and teach on that. You can create a list of the top 3 challenges of each client and concentrate on providing that solution and include what you promised in your bullet points.
Not many competitors will want to learn on everything your client needs but you can learn as you go.
It’s very effective because you can separate yourself from everybody else that are doing the same thing, learning the same material and doing things that maybe are not the way that they will enjoy their coaching program long term. That’s why you have to choose your path and not have it chosen for you.
