The Hearst Tower in New York designed
by the architect Norman Foster grows
out of the original building of 1928 by
Joseph Urban. It is the first “green” high
rise office building completed in New
York City.
Commissioned by Norman Foster for a
new book entitled “Building with History”
the project covered many other buildings

5. Gucci Museum, Florence Project ref: 13560
The Gucci Museum is situated in the
Palazzo della Mercanzia, Florence, which
dates back to 1337.
I was commissioned by Gucci to capture
the architectural qualities of the new
musum interiors for the opening which
was timed to celebrate the 90th
Anniversary of the fashion House of
Gucci.
Many challenges included shooting in
an extremely busy exterior Piazze and
infinitely variable lighting conditions in
the minimally designed galleries.

8. K & L Gates, London Project ref: 13560
At no 1 New Change K&L Gates have
established their new headquarters in
London.
The architectural and design strategists,
Lehman Smith McLeish wanted to create
an office interior that befitted the award
winning architecture and the profile of
this international law firm. The design of
the entrance and wayfinding
graphics drew strongly on the overall
design lines of the Jean Nouvel building,
while remaining true to the established
K&L Gates brand identity.
The photographs were instumental in the
application for a major design award.

16. Adsett Learning Centre Project ref: 13716
“The task of reorganising the learning
centres was a significant challenge, but
it was absolutely vital to the success of
Sheffield Hallam as a two campus Uni-
versity.”
The inovative approach to the design
of the Adsett Learning Centre Sheffield
proved to be extremely popular with the
students. A sense of location was
successfully introduced to help with the
visual identification of the various zones.
