The human body is the entire structure of a human
organism and comprises a head, neck, torso, two arms and
two legs. By the time the human reaches adulthood, the body
consists of close to 100 trillion cells, the basic unit of life.
The organ systems of the body include the
musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, digestive
system, endocrine system, integumentary system, urinary
system, lymphatic system, immune system and reproductive
system.
Your body moves because of the commands of the
brain to the muscle. Single nerve cells in the spinal
cord called motor neurons, are the only way the
brain connects to muscles.
Do not lean the body forward or
slump into the back of the chair.
The feet should set perpendicular
to the ground, the knees almost
together. It would be uncivil to
stretch out your legs.
Your arms should be extended over
the arms of the chair or bench, do
not place them over or behind the
seat back of the neighboring chair.
 Do not rest all the weight of the body on
one leg, leaving the other slack or
hanging. It is not proper to lean on a tree
or wall, or a piece of furniture.
 The head should be inclined slightly
forward, without moving it from one side
to another, or forward and backward.
 The feet should be together, at a slightly
open angle, and the knees almost together.
One of the arms should hang naturally,
while the other is slightly bent next to the
body.
 Sleep is a naturally recurring state
characterized by reduced or absent
consciousness, relatively suspended
sensory activity, and inactivity of
nearly all voluntary muscles. It is
distinguished from wakefulness by a
decreased ability to react to stimuli.
 Sleep helps us to conserve energy.
When walking, avoid precipitation when it
is not necessary to rush. The step should
be firm without exaggeration.
The arms should move slightly following
the rhythm of the step, each foot being
placed firmly and solidly in turn on the
ground, without making a loud thumping
sound.
While walking one should not twist the
head to one side or the other.
Taking care of our body is important because it is
essential for good health and active life. Taking care of
our body requires certain activities such as bathing,
brushing teeth, washing hands, cutting nails and etc.
 GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
The movement of the body structures
is accomplished by the contraction of
muscles. Muscles may move parts of
the skeleton relatively to each other,
or may move parts of internal organs
relatively to each other.

to the human body
Increased strength and
stamina
Better body shape and
increased agility
Helps burn calories and
shed those extra pounds
Give the body a good
exercise
We have fun and play
because it is a part of a
healthy life for a person. It
offers a variety of different
life lessons and health
benefits. This activities are
important and should be a
part of our life.
 Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Safety in
playing is important because we don’t want
to be injured or made sick because of
accidents.
 Sudden sports injuries, including cuts and
sprains, are usually caused by accidents like
sudden impact or an awkward movement.
 Some accidents occurs as a result of:
 not warming up properly
 Poor technique
 Not using equipment correctly
 Not taking the proper safety precautions for your
sport
 Overestimating your level of fitness, strength
and endurance.
EXAMPLES OF ACCIDENTS
WHILE PLAYING
 Safe areas for playing are places which are far from
things that could possibly result to accident. When
playing, always make sure that the place is the
right area for playing. Players should be
accompanied by medical assistance incase injury
occurs. Avoid using things such as weapons or
other materials that can hinder your safety.
 Choose the right place according to what you are
going to play.
 Some places that are recommended are:
 Outdoor spaces such as backyard, public park,
campground,
 Indoor places such as ground, living room that have
support
 The location of the playing area
 The floor to play
 Different people, different areas- people
especially kids should be separated from
adults when playing.
 The hygiene for the playing area
 The area and its maintenance
 Age appropriate equipment should be
presented
 Equipment is safe and properly maintained
Water is one of the most effective and
natural ways of sustaining a healthy
lifestyle. Water stands out as the
world’s most important fundamentals
in its existence, next to oxygen. With
eight glasses recommended for the
average person’s daily consumption,
although this is just a normal lifestyle,
it exemplifies how one should maintain
the 70% water composition in the
human body.
 A lot of metabolic processes happen in the
middle part of the body. The breathing process
heavily relies on water.
 In the digestive system, water is still king. In
the intestines it facilitates the absorption of
various compounds as well as cleansing it.
Process such as hydrolysis; transformation of
food into absorb able elements to require
water.
 Water is also detoxification agent. It facilitates
excretion of waste from the organs and
transports waste to respective outlets.
 The skin requires water in order to avoid
cracking, discoloring or shedding off.
 Stand close to the pan or urinal so you don’t
dribble urine on floor.
 Avoid messing the toilet seat. If you
do, clean up the toilet properly
 Remember to flush the toilet after use
 Wash your hands thoroughly
 Always keep a spare spare roll of toilet paper
 We clean up after eating foods because it is vital
for our surroundings to be clean. As a courtesy
for the next user of eating area, we must not
leave without making sure that the area is clean
and free from any unwanted smell and leftovers
that may cause illness. It is also important to
brush our teeth and wash our hands after eating.
 Cleaning our surrounding before eating is
essential for us to have a nice area for
eating. Washing your hands before eating,
wiping the table, plates and other utensils
must be a part of our practice when it comes
to good and healthy eating habits.

By the time the human reaches adulthood, the body consists of close to 100 trillion cells, the basic unit of life. The organ systems of the body include the musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, digestive system, endocrine system, integumentary system, urinary system, lymphatic system, immune system and reproductive system.

  • 5. Your body moves because of the commands of the brain to the muscle. Single nerve cells in the spinal cord called motor neurons, are the only way the brain connects to muscles.
  • 6. Do not lean the body forward or slump into the back of the chair. The feet should set perpendicular to the ground, the knees almost together. It would be uncivil to stretch out your legs. Your arms should be extended over the arms of the chair or bench, do not place them over or behind the seat back of the neighboring chair.

It is not proper to lean on a tree or wall, or a piece of furniture.  The head should be inclined slightly forward, without moving it from one side to another, or forward and backward.  The feet should be together, at a slightly open angle, and the knees almost together. One of the arms should hang naturally, while the other is slightly bent next to the body.
