Nightclubs in langkawi? I dun recall any of those in langkawi anymore after they closed down
the one at Porto Malai. I’m only aware of those in kuala lumpur, which would be the bukit
bintang area.
However, there are small pubs at Pantai Cenang which are quite happening over the weekends.
If you hotels at the beach, Pantai Cenang would be the best place to stay. Try www.cuti.com.my
or www.marimari.com.my to lookout for hotel to stay at the area. Rates can range from RM30 to
RM120 per low budget rooms. It’s still off season now.

i need more information on Langkawi?
beaches, hotel
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
Langkawi or Eagle Island is situated off the coast of the state of Kedah and is one of the many
island resorts in Malaysia.
It’s recommended that you stop over between the weekdays of Mon-Thurs as Fri is considered
a Sun here.
Shopping is cheap, affordable at bargain/ duty free prices. Stuff like ciggies, dried foodstuff,
chocs, etc.
Tanjung Rhu is an ideal beach spot for most tourists. As for hotels there’s the new 5 star Four
Seasons Resort, Berjaya Langkawi Resorts. Or if you prefer to stay in the town of Kuah itself,
Sheraton Perdana is a good choice.

5. Will be staying in Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur, do let me know the places to visit (easily
accessible from the Hotel) Beaches near by, night life, shopping places and what to shop for
when in Malaysia . Is it worth going to Langkawi, tell me any thing you think will be helpful
Cuti-cuti Malaysia answers:
In kuala lumpur, there are the petronas twin towers(tourist spot).
There are a lot shopping site where they sell traditional stuff .
There is also aquaria in klcc.
There are no beaches, kl is a city.
Langkawi is definitely a beach paradise. But its located north and really far away from kl. But
langkawi is really fun and interesting place to go to. You might have to take a plane to get there
from kl
