Best place to stay in Pulau Perhentian??
Not too expensive, amazing view and fabulous chalet..

I stayed at the Coco Hut. It was nice place with all the amenities and yet you feel like you are
roughing it out. The beach in front of the resort is covered with corals. Instead of paying extra to
hire a boat to take you out, all you need to do is to jump into the water and you are there.

3. Can give any suggestions about the beach?
I’m planning to go to beach during June. There are few of the options I’m keen on it. Pulau
Kapas, Lang Tengah, Pulau Tioman and Pulau Perhentian.. Any suggestions for these few
beach?? Which resorts or chalets I should go for it?

Iam from Bali Indonesia, but iam know a few thing about resort and hotel in that area…
The Pulau Redang Marine Park encompasses several natural groups of islands off the coast of
Kuala Terengganu, about 45 km (28 miles) off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The park
comprises the waters off nine islands which include the: Redang group (Pulau Redang, and
several other smaller islands); Perhentian group (Pulau Perhentian Besar, Pulau Perhentian
Kecil); Pulau Lang Tengah, mid way between the former two groups of islands, and; Pulau
Kapas, about 64 km (40 miles) to the south of Redang and closer to the shores off Marang.
Access:
By boat from either Kuala Terengganu or Kampung Merang to Pulau Redang or Pulau
Perhentian. The usual jetty to take for Pulau Perhentian is from Kampung Kuala Besut.
From Marang (further down the coast, south of Kuala Terengganu) to Pulau Kapas.
Facilities (resort):
Two large resorts on Pulau Redang including various budget accommodations. Smaller scale
resorts and budget accommodation at Pasir Panjang, Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Kapas.
Beach chalets and camping facilities at Telok Kalong and Pulau Pinang. On Redang, a Marine
Park Centre (information, exhibits, & camping sites).

Taman Negara: Karak highway and drive to pulau perhentian using Pantai Timur Highway

How is Lang Tengah Island?
I am planning to spent my holiday with my family on Island from 19/2/2007 to 21/2/2007. I am
looking at Pulau Perhentian and Pulan Lang Tengah. Which Island is better?

Wow ! You have chosen two of the very beautiful islands in Malaysia for your holiday ! If
possible i would like to visit both !
Pulau Perhentian consists of two islands, one called Pulau Perhentian Besar the other Pulau
Perhentian Kecil. Both are charmingly beautiful ! Perhentian offered vast variety of
accommodation from 5 stars hotel to budgeted chalets !
Hopping on to speed boat would take you about 90 minutes depend on sea condition, n Land
Tengah is not far away from P P. Actually its located at ‘between’ Perhentian n Redang !
If i am not wrong, Lang Tengah only have two resorts may be due to its size which is very much
smaller than P P. Whether PP or LT, both are heaven for sea lover, snorkeling or diving or just
laze around or fishing ! You would definitely have no regret to spend your vacation on either
island ! I myself have been to PP four occasion n would very much like to make it 5 or 6 or all
the times only if i have the money ! My friend told me LT was fabulous too !
Enjoy your holiday ! But i thinks 19 to 21 Feb is just too short a duration ! N don’t forget its
Chinese New Year [ 18 n 19 Feb ] hence you may not be able to secured any resort or chalet
during that period even you books now !
