Mandy asks…
A place to spend the weekend with the b.f.?
Looking for a hotel either in Klang Valley or nearby e.g. Melaka, to spend the weekend – it gets
a bit dull ‘getting it on’ in the same room and house after awhile. We went to P.D and Pangkor
island last year, so hoping not to go there again.
Ah Bean – we watch a film or films almost every week, inclusive of the so-called blue film
Di sebalik semak, dalam kereta – all that tried and tested. In the lift? Cannot lah, these days got
CCTV in buildings. We don’t want to end up on YouTube.

Finding resorts or chalets at…?
Im finding for a hotel, chalet or resort to stay in Pangkor Island. It is an island in malaysia. Im
staying there on 25 Dec 09. Also. the price cant be too expensive. There are 3 adults and a
child. I wonder if any kind people has got any suggestions to tell. I would really thank you a lot if
you help search the web for me. I will choose a best answer if it helps me, so please help me.
Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
There are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best
prices available. Check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all
the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. It’s very convenient and will save you a
bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… Otherwise they charge much
higher fees for phone orders. Good luck.

Make sure your info are from those who has been there before otherwise you would be
misleaded !
Of course Tioman’s road is nothing compared to Pangkor, but still there is tarred road linking
Kg. Air Batang n Berjaya Tioman Resort [ Kg. Air Batang to Tekek is partly cement though ].
You could go around by renting a bycicle or bike but the rate is much more expensive than in
Pangkor !
Alternatively you may like to hire a boat to sight seeing or snorkeling/diving or fishing ! If you
have that extra enegy or more advantures, then hiking over to the other side of the island, from
Tekek to Kg. Juara may suit you.
Salang at the northern part of Tioman is the most crowded place, with chalet, restaurant, dive
centre, grocery shop so close to each others ! No tarred road here ! Mind you the hand phone
coverage are good too espectially 016/013.
You may not be able to visit Tioman now due to the year end monsoon, but try to go there
soonest possible as there will be lots of changes n development coming up like the Marina at
Tekek, which i think could well destroy many of the stunningly beautiful corals !
One still can fly to Tioman but the beaches would not be as nice !
Try those 3d2n package which may save you some money if you are single[ knowing that from
YA you already no more available, but hey, why not get him to pay for your trip ? ]
I would like to see you there as i am preparing my fifth visits but may be delay due to shortage
of ‘vitamin M’ ! Hahahaha…..
Feel free to drop me an email if you like to know more about Tioman, you may try those web
site something like ‘malaysia island.com’ or ‘island.com.my’ to check out the details !
Hope this would help !

5. Linda asks…
Which one of these Malaysian islands has the most eccentric
nightlife?
I will have a weekend open on my business trip. I love phuket, I love to swim and snorkel during
the day and have some beers in a crazy scene at night. Crazier the better.
Which of these has the most eccentric night life:
Koh Samui
Pangkor
Redang
Tioman
Thanks…!
Kaki Cuti Cuti Malaysia answers:
Definitely Koh Samui, especially the nightlife you are expecting.
But it’s not Malaysian island. It’s Thailand.
