DIGESTANTS AND ENZYMES Hydrochloric acid Use- achlorhydria Pepsin Use- gastric achylia Pancreatin Source-pig pancreas Contain- amylase, trypsin and lipase Use- chronic pancreatitis exocrine pancreatic deficiency
Diastase and Takadiastase Use- Pancreatic insufficiency Papain Source- papaya They are only beneficial when their elaboration in g.i.t is deficient.
