Redmine-lite is a lightweight, easy-to-install fork of Redmine 1.0.3 that can be installed and deployed in about three minutes. It is packaged with smart defaults like Bundler/RVM integration and a SQLite database to provide issue and task tracking software without the complex setup of the original Redmine software. While it provides a simple setup, additional configurations would be needed for database backups, failover, redundancy, and automatic initialization on boot.
