WHAT ETICS ARE ?
 "Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a
right to do and what is right to do“
 It is true that morals and values differs for an individual
 Morals and values are extremely individualistic
+
INDIVISUAL ETHICS
 Ethics are the values, roles and responsibilities which every one
should adopt in personal as well as professional life to get success.
 The basic principles and values that govern
interactions among individuals.
 Sound personal ethics are typically those that
positively impact the experience of others when used to govern
an individual's social or business related behaviour, and at the very
least, such ethics should not have a negative impact on others
+
GAP BETWEEN ETHICAL AND
UNETHICAL
 it shows that the reason to have and the action to be taken if the
consequences are positive then it is ethical. if it give a negative
feedback then it is unethical
+
GROUP ETHICS
 Group dynamics is the binder that hold organizations together.
Without them, there would be chaos within the framework of
organized functionality.
 Group processes and performance are closely integrated with an
individual’s moral and ethical foundations
 Ethical behaviours such as cheating, lying, and theft are not viewed
in the same light as previous generations
+
 Despite the changes in our society, Ethics, integrity, honesty
and strong values should remain the cornerstone of corporate
and personal behaviour.
+There are certain group leadership attributes that are
essential to ensuring top-notch leaders successfully
directing a competitive company. A few of the
principles and skills that make an effective group
leader include:
 1. Communication
 2. Judgment
 3. Vision
 4. Energy.
+
CORPORATE ETHICS
 Business ethics (also corporate ethics) is a form of applied
ethics or professional ethics that examines ethical principles
and moral or ethical problems that arise in a business
environment. It applies to all aspects of business conduct and
is relevant to the conduct of individuals and entire organizations
 Every person in an organization is morally responsible for his or
her own behaviour
+CONSIDER THESE EIGHT ELEMENTS THAT
COMPRISE THE ETHICAL BEDROCK OF AN
AWESOME ORGANIZATION:
 RESPECT: Building a business, you need to respect yourself and
surround yourself with people you can respect.
 HONOUR: Good people are a fundamental part of good ethics. They
are also great ambassadors for doing things right. Give special
attention to strong performers and people who exemplify the spirit of
your organization.
+
 INTEGRITY: When it comes to integrity, it is impossible to avoid
sounding parental. Do not lie, steal, or cheat. Make your word
your bond and always stand by your word.
 CUSTOMER FOCUS: A company is nothing if it does not have
customers.
 RESULTS-ORIENTED: Results should be attained in the context
of developing something that customers want.
 RISK-TAKING: So far, you might be feeling that ethical
companies are fearful and mousy, scared of doing the wrong
thing. That is simply not true.
+
 PASSION: Great organizations are comprised of people who
have a passion for what they are doing.
 PERSISTENCE: People in awesome organizations have the
will to persist.
+
CONCLUSION
 We are all part of or participate in some type of CORPORATE
dynamics and leadership activity. The way in which we conduct
ourselves may ultimately determine the success or failure of that
activity. In that context, it is essential that we understand the
importance of corporate dynamics, ethics, integrity and
leadership to ensure success in our endeavours. Only through
study, understanding, and application of these principles can a
group or individual succeed.
