Washing hands with soap is an important habit that can prevent the spread of many diseases in children. The document outlines a project to teach children in three families the importance of handwashing with soap. Teach children to wash their hands with soap: Habit small, large benefit.
Children are the future of the country, a new generation will maintain national race, it is
necessary to protect children from harmful diseases.
Maybe people think that washing hands with soap is only a small thing, but in reality, this habit
has helped prevent many sources of infection, including disease hand-food-mouth.
Not only adults, but also children, hand is the part most exposed to the environment. during
the work day as education, sanitation ... children can be infected with many harmful
microorganisms which have a variety of bacterial, viral diseases, such as diarrhoea, hepatitis A,
typhoid, polio, sore red eyes, trachoma, some skin diseases…that our eyes can not see.
Washing hand with soap can reduce to 50% the risk of infectious diarrhoea, 19-45% reduction
in the risk of respiratory tract infections. So child should wash their hands with soap and water to
get rid of germs and dirt on the hands.
3. TARGET:
To propagate to 3 families drawbacks when washing hands only with water as well as
the benefits of washing hand with soap giving us. to contribute to reducing the incidence
of skin diseases. virus-related disease in children, ...

4. First, I propagated with three families for the purposes mentioned above then instruct
the children to wash their hands with soap.
Guiding quite simply because this is probably the sanitationour daily.
While children were praticing, I reminded them
more as they should wash their hands each time for
at least 01 minutes, the time is before eating, after
using the toilet ... With steps:
“- Wet your hands with clean water. Apply soap to
hands. Rub your palms together.
- Rub until you feel has clean hands
- Rinse hands clean of all soap and clean water.
Dry hands with a clean towel or paper.”
They seemed to enjoy this action…
5. But just enjoy not enough, children very quickly forget the habit if the habit is not
repeated or not made an impression on them. So, I reminded once again of the purpose
of what they were doing and made them feel interested in this by opening a small contest
that every day who wash the hands hard and clean will spendvictory. They became really
excited and promised to try to win ...

6. Rely on the support of three in the family. With the listening of the children I have finished
my little project. So, I have more experience of work in the community. I feel very happy
that i contributed to the dissemination and implementation of useful work even if only a
very small par. As well as to see the effect of hand hygiene with soap is very important.
