Your project is to create a three dimensional model. Your choices :

Option 1: Build a Scale Model of the Pyramid of Giza
Option 2: Build a Scale Model of a Sarcophagus
You must:
   • Create a 3-D model
   • Make each of the models proportional

    • The actual size of the model as well as the proportional size of the model should be
        labeled on the project

    • You must label what the model is and where the actual structure is located.

    • You must write two different paragraphs:

o The first explaining the importance of the structure. This paragraph will be part
of your Social Studies grade. Make sure you answer the following questions:

 Why is this structure important?

 When and where was it created?

 Who was the structure in remembrance of?

 Any other important information that someone should know?

o The second paragraph, explaining why you made it the size you did, what was the
original size, what did you do to find the new size? In this paragraph you must
explain in words the math that you used to create this structure.

    • The project must be handed in on the due date – NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

    • This will count as a Social Studies grade worth two tests and as a Math grade worth
        two test grades!
