  2. 2. Objective <ul><li>The objective of this power point is to tell five dos and don'ts in the workplace and explain how to be ethical and not unethical. </li></ul>
  3. 3. 1.Do: Be on time <ul><li>Being on time to your workplace will prove how responsible and caring you are. </li></ul><ul><li>Being on time will help the job get done easier. </li></ul>
  4. 4. 2. Do: Be organized <ul><li>If you are organized, it will benefit you and your workplace. Find papers and get prepared easily. </li></ul><ul><li>Organization will stop stress. </li></ul>
  5. 5. 3. Do: Be patient <ul><li>If you are patient, then your peers will understand you and will be patient with you back. </li></ul><ul><li>Patience is a virtue. </li></ul>
  6. 6. 4. Do: Be Nice <ul><li>If you are nice many peers will like you and it will be easy to work with them and they will give you respect back. </li></ul>
  7. 7. 5. Do: Listen <ul><li>If you listen you will be able to learn many interesting things from your peers and people will listen back. </li></ul>
  8. 8. 6. Don’t: talk bad <ul><li>You should always avoid talking bad about anyone of your peers, now that you are there to get your work done and not be judging people. </li></ul>
  9. 9. 7. Don’t: Sneak and play games <ul><li>When you try to sneak and play games on the internet, the bigger the risk you will get caught. </li></ul>
  10. 10. 8. Don’t slack <ul><li>The more you slack while trying to play and sit back the more work will increase, causing stress. </li></ul>
  11. 11. 9. Don’t: look up inappropriate things during work. <ul><li>Looking up inappropriate things at work can get you caught and fired on the spot, just wait until you get home and are off work. </li></ul>
  12. 12. Don’t: Look up personal things that don’t deal with work. <ul><li>Ex: e-mail, chats, etc. You should avoid this because at the moment the most important thing should be getting the job done. </li></ul>
  13. 13. Summary <ul><li>While doing this project I learned things that are ethical and unethical in the workplace, I also learned that in the future I can use this as a reference to guide now that I may not have any experience in my new upcoming job. This project benefited me a lot and I am happy I got it. Now I know what is expected of me in a future job area. </li></ul>
