 Marketing includes the activities like marketing 
research, product planning & development, pricing, 
promotion, distribution, selling etc 
Selling is a part of marketing
 Marketing starts with before the production of 
goods and services, 
Selling comes after production and ends with 
the 
delivery of the product and collection of 
payment. 
 Marketing find the right products for customers. 
Selling to find the customers for products. 
 Marketing views the customer as the very 
purpose of the business.
