    36. In 2007, Eight family members joined together to build a house for a family. We collected about 80 gifts for the community, but ran out in about 5 minutes. After returning home with a new perspective on our own blessings, we spread the word about Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point). Through the generosity of others, we were able to grow. In 2008, Fifteen family members joined together to build another house. This year, we were able to provide around 800 gifts of clothes, toiletries, toys, blankets, and baby supplies. Even with the incredible growth, we were still only able to help a small portion. Being a part of the Puerto Penasco trip is a truly life changing experience and with continued support, we’ll be able to grow bigger, help more, and truly make a difference for this community.
