Occupying a prime position in New Cairo City, the
exclusive Stone Park residential compound covers an area
of approximately 460 feddans (1,932,000 sqm), with
signature towers and shopping malls shaping the trendy
façade along the ring road and- at the same time-
significantly marking the compound as a whole. Situated
at the entrance of New Cairo City, on the ring road, it is
only 10 minutes away from Maadi, 20 minutes from Cairo
International Airport, 15 minutes from Heliopolis and
Nasr City, and 30 minutes from the Giza Pyramids. The

A focal point in the project is the “petrified tree” or the
“stone”, which is part of the remains of the petrified
wood in the vicinity. In fact, this is where the name of the
compound comes from, and it definitely adds a different
taste and a different allure.

THE STONE
LEVELS
The Stone is an enigma in itself, one that is highly sought,
not only by the residents of the compound, but also by
other residents of New Cairo City as a whole. A private
clubhouse, with a swimming pool and a sports field are
found in the area of the “stone”, in addition to classy
outlets and shops.

The natural levels of the
site have been utilized to
the advantage of the
project; seen from the ring
road, the land steps down
from a level of 230 meters
to a level of 190 meters.
This 40-meter difference
has been divided between
planes that step down at
approximately 10-meter
intervals, reaching two
plateaus that stretch over
the lowest part of the land.
The top linear plane (at 230 meters) accommodates
approximately 70 large villas, whose land areas range
between 1100 and 1800sqm, boasting breathtaking views
over the compound itself, and far beyond onto the open
desert land. The following level (at 215 meters),
accommodates approximately 180 villas, with land areas
ranging from 800 to 1000sqm, moving flexibly throughout
the site and also enjoying exciting views that reach the
desert in the horizon.
As the land steps down, the number of plots planned
along the bending fingers of the contour lines increases
and the area of each decreases, ranging from 400 to
700sqm. The smallest land areas are to be found in the
lowest, stretched-out plateaus, where the residents enjoy
well-landscaped open spaces, with winding trails, tree-
lined pathways and interesting water features, creating
their own exceptional atmospheres and adding depth to
the intended graceful lifestyle.

Pedestrians are able to
walk through the whole
compound
uninterruptedly;
be it along the lower
winding trails that move
through the intimate
enclosures at 190 meters,
which are- in turn-
connected to the other
promenades on the higher
steps of the land, till they
reach the top plane at 230
meters, and enjoy some of
the best panoramic views
of the area.
At points where streets slope downwards, they are even able to cross using
interesting bridges that add a special flavor to the character of the compound.

  • 6. A focal point in the project is the “petrified tree” or the “stone”, which is part of the remains of the petrified wood in the vicinity. In fact, this is where the name of the compound comes from, and it definitely adds a different taste and a different allure.

  • 8. The Stone is an enigma in itself, one that is highly sought, not only by the residents of the compound, but also by other residents of New Cairo City as a whole. A private clubhouse, with a swimming pool and a sports field are found in the area of the “stone”, in addition to classy outlets and shops.

LEVELS Vehicle Streets 230-meter level 215-meter level 202-meter level 205-meter level 195-meter level 185 to 190-meter level The natural levels of the site have been utilized to the advantage of the project; seen from the ring road, the land steps down from a level of 230 meters to a level of 190 meters. This 40-meter difference has been divided between planes that step down at approximately 10-meter intervals, reaching two plateaus that stretch over the lowest part of the land.

The top linear plane (at 230 meters) accommodates approximately 70 large villas, whose land areas range between 1100 and 1800sqm, boasting breathtaking views over the compound itself, and far beyond onto the open desert land. The following level (at 215 meters), accommodates approximately 180 villas, with land areas ranging from 800 to 1000sqm, moving flexibly throughout the site and also enjoying exciting views that reach the desert in the horizon.
  • 34. As the land steps down, the number of plots planned along the bending fingers of the contour lines increases and the area of each decreases, ranging from 400 to 700sqm. The smallest land areas are to be found in the lowest, stretched-out plateaus, where the residents enjoy well-landscaped open spaces, with winding trails, tree- lined pathways and interesting water features, creating their own exceptional atmospheres and adding depth to the intended graceful lifestyle.

No retaining walls are found in the compound giving pedestrians the chance to enjoy beautifully landscaped sloping areas, with waterfalls and attractive rock formations alongside vehicle streets that serve the following line of villas, stretching over the next land level.
