39 characters Primary Schools in the UK: A Look Inside the Classrooms and Daily Schedule
1. 1rA presents… the British primary schools !!!
Primary schools in the UK are very different to ours.
They star at 8:40 and study different subjects until 12:15. After that they
have a short lunch time. A normal day starts with the registration first, and
then the assembly. It is a subject that we don’t have here in Catalonia. Every
day in the morning all the students sit in a room and discuss many different
things with the teacher or the heartaches.
Every day have maths and literacy. And they have P.E, R.E, and I.C.T once or
twice a week.
The classrooms are big and full of displays, there are really decorated. There
are different corners where you can read, play... and have a corner with
hangers, school bags and some boxes to keep things. On the floor of the
classrooms there is a big carpet. All the schools in the UK have a withe board
and some schools have two boards.
In Catalonia any student wears the uniform except in some private schools. In
UK all the students wear the uniform. The uniform is with black shoes or
trainers, grey trousers, the shirt, the tie, a jumper and a polo shirt.
