9. Texas Teacher STaR Chart & Texas Campus STaR ChartPurpose: Assist teachers in determining professional development needs based on a current educational technology profile. Provide data that feeds into the Texas Campus STaR Chart so that more accurate school information is gained and documented. Assist campuses in documenting the use of No Child Left Behind, Title II, Part D formula, and discretionary funds.

13. Conclusion: Some progress has been made as teachers incorporate technology in their everyday implementation of the curriculum. There is lots of work still to be done. Texas teachers must complete the survey online and use the profile annually to gauge their progress in integrating technology into teaching and learning.

This results apply only for the Teaching and Learning Section of the STaR Chart. As you can see, the percentage of campuses at an Early Tech. level has been decreasing. The percentage at Developing Tech. stage also decreased. Yet the percent at the Advanced Tech. level has increased. The percent at the Target Tech. level is where we all want to be. This level has not increased even after all the advancements and programs that have been implemented.
