2. Eating habits in Egypt
Not leaving any food on the plate in our culture
means that we liked the food a lot but in Egypt,
running out of food means that we have not fed
enough.

3. If you add salt to a plate in Egypt you are
insulting the chef who has prepared it!
Never use your left hand to bring food to
your mouth in Egypt. This hand is only
used when someone goes to the service and
therefore is not hygienic.
