Online products and services
• Place Profiles are computer generated reports that provide a high level
analysis of an area, telling a ‘story of place’. The reports cover 20 different
themes, with Summary Place Profiles providing an overarching analysis of
economic, social and environmental conditions.
• Place Insight our online research and intelligence service is designed to
help users achieve a better understanding of places. It contains the latest
data, at different spatial levels, linked to an easy-to-use toolkit.
• Customer Insight: we provide access to the Output Area Classification,
together with resources and support to help users develop a better
understanding of citizens, customers and communities.
• SMART Observatories: we build customised versions of Local Knowledge
and Local Information Systems, providing a cost effective solution to local
information management.
