Established in 1985, Macroplan has grown to be one of the largest and most respected property advisors, with offices around the country in every premier CBD location. Our work portfolio covers standalone facilities, such as apartment blocks and community centres, to major infrastructure and new town centres. We assist our public clients with planning for future growth and change. This requires demographic and market analysis, as well as forecasting growth in the housing and employment markets. How will an area change over time? What will it become? What services, facilities and infrastructure are needed to respond to this change and deliver benefits to community? Macroplan creates strategies for optimising planning outcomes.

We access and compile information from a range of public and private databases as well as our own library of primary market research data. We conduct demographic research, determining demand for housing, rate of jobs growth by sector, and the stages of property market cycles. We prepare retail impact assessments, economic and social impact assessments, undertake feasibility analysis for individual projects and market assessments for new developments. Our deep understanding of financial metrics allows clients to move in and out of projects more quickly, reducing their holding risk. Put simply, we are able to reduce the risk and increase project returns. It’s one of the reasons why we’ve developed enduring relationships with our clients.
