2. We are all about family.
Chicken Sarap was established in 2011 by our food loving family,
which hails from Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Silay City is known as the hometown of many old families and of
equally-old food traditions.
A driving force behind Chicken Sarap was the desire to
share with family and friends the distinct aroma and
unbelievably good taste of charcoal-grilled chicken that
is authentic and true to local ingredients and preferred
local flavors.
3. We are all about great food.
Everybody loves chicken, and Chicken
Sarap’s home-grown recipe for charcoal-
grilled chicken is an experience we’d like
to think is very special.
It starts with the marinade, which is
perfectly timed and has undergone
hundreds of hours of testing and tasting to
perfect.
4. It’s all in the preparation...
On the grill it’s the basting liquid which
keeps the chicken moist and produces that
smokey-sweet aroma.
And once the chicken inasal hits your plate
it’s the flavorful grilled chicken oil drizzled
on top of your white or yellow rice and
then sprinkled with toasted garlic or dried
baby shrimps that makes all the difference.
A meal with us usually leaves the diner
happy and content.
5. …and in putting a new twist to
classics. And now we’ve expanded our menu to
include more local delights to please our
valued clientele.
Unforgettable favorites like Batchoy, KBL
(Kadyos, Baboy, Langka), and Fresh Lumpia
are now gaining popularity.
We also have some new dishes like
Chorizo Pudpud (skinless chorizo cooked
on a hot plate), Inasalitos, Grilled Tiger
Prawns and Grilled Bangus.
All these are prepared with the same level
of meticulous attention to detail that we
give our chicken inasal.
6. But mostly we are about
fellowship… Chicken Sarap is also about bringing people
together. Be it family, friends, or office
colleagues; there is always good reason to
spend time together after work to hang-
out, or over the weekend for a party or
picnic.
We designed the Chicken Sarap model to
be as mobile as possible, so that wherever
you are, we can bring the Chicken Sarap
experience to you. We call it “Grill-On-
Site.“

Inasal: a derivative of the
Spanish word “asado, which means
grill or barbecue
9. Chicken Sarap has established a special niche since it began operations in mid-2011.
It has had the privilege of bringing its Chicken Sarap Experience to a number of big corporations
but also to the private residences of some of Manila’s most selective palates. But far from being
choosy or elitist, Chicken Sarap remains to be distinctly local and affordable – growing its customer
base one family and company at a time.
