Brief description: Realize the quality control of bales of straw to allow the insurability of
the construction and the respect for the professional rules of the straw
construction - 800 bales of straw planned for the ECOBATYS site
General state::
Bales of straw realized locally, of sizes and different weights
Works :
Apprehension of the professional rules of the straw and the characteristics expected from
bales of straw, according to their size, to their weight and to their rate of humidity (tables of
calculation)
Preparation of the spaces of tests, sortings and storage before transport towards the place of
the construction site
Measure of the bales of straw (different lengthes)
Weighing of bales of straw by means of two steelyards (100kg - 1 boot / 10)
Measure of the rate of humidity of bales of straw - 1 boot / 10 - minimum 10 boots
Check if weevils in bales of straw (grains of wheat)
Filling by two certifiers of Paper of quality control: original kept by the company
(insurability) + 3 copies intended for the client, for the Pays de Fougères assuring the follow-
up of the project and the audit firm of the professional rules of the straw construction (RFCP)

Sorting of bales of straw on pallets (protection of the bales of straw from the capillary
ascents)
