- Hi, I’m Linnai Marz of Marz Business Services. Just a little background – Prior to starting ourbusiness 3 years ago, I had 18 years experience working in the accounting field – in jobs ranging from an Accounting clerk to Accounting Manager, with even a brief stint working in a CPA office. All those years of implementing software packages , looking at numbers, generating reports, and watching the companies react (or sometimes NOT react ) to the information contained in those reports created a real desire to help the business owner understand how important that information really is. Accurate Bookkeeping or Accounting isn’t something done once a year so you can file your taxes, and then you’ll find out how you did last year, it plays a critical role in helping the business owner gain the knowledge necessary to reach his goals. Paying with computerized checks mark the bill paid, and reduce your bank balance – giving you a real time bank balance instantly.If you don’t want to create computerized checks, having a professional bookkeeper record the information for you in a computer system gives you all the benefits, and also provides peace of mind that it is done correctly.
- As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I can help the business owner customize a system set up to track the information specific to the business. We can set up processes that will make it easy to capture that information and transfer into QuickBooks for reporting. If you choose to do the entry yourself, or have staff enter it, we can provide training specific to your customized set up. Then, we will review monthly to ensure entries are complying with accounting principles and be available to answer your questions.We can also make it easy to pass off all records on a regular schedule and we will do the work and provide a system copy and monthly financials. - Accurate bookkeeping can make the difference between a growing business and one that is just staying alive. There is a wealth of knowledge that can be found in that stack of deposit tickets, credit card statements, and bills. But, it requires the data be recorded in a way that is useful to the business owner.
