 Based on the work of Charlotte Danielson
   Considered a ‘best practice’ in education

 Focuses on four domains of the profession:
     Planning and Preparation
     Classroom Environment
     Instruction
     Professional Responsibilities

 Provides a common language of assessment

 Focuses upon self-reflection and conversation
