2. Mode of Address:
 On this double page spread the language uses is
informal ‘Attention Seeker’. The pull quote
covering the page and bleeds to the next is not
taken with a light heart, it is to standout and grab
your eye to make you read the feature. The use
of capitals in the pull quote show that the
magazine is loud and bold.

3. Layout:
 The columns are placed at the bottom of the
page, and are short. This could appeal to the
audience because it seems to be less writing. The
ratio of text to image is 30:70, as this magazine is
appealing to a teen audience this ratio works well.
The image bleeds on both sides of the double
page, also bleed to the edge so there is no white
lines. The article is an interview by Lily Allen and
by the pull quote it gives the impression that it is
about what people think about her, this would
grab the interest of the teen girls.

4. Image:
 Around the image it is bland with not much colour,
this is so that the image of Lily Allen standout
more as she is in a bright red top. The
background is plain so there is no sense of
location in the article. It is a simple image but
effective for the propose, to catch the readers
eye.
