The sense of hearing helps us to listen to the Quran and to people.
The sense of sight helps us to read and to see people.
The sense of smell helps us to smell flowers and perfumes.

 If we focus on time we use past simple but if we focus
 on action we use present perfect

  I saw a lion yesterday

    Affirmative             I have seen a lion.

     Negative               I have never seen a lion.

                                   No, I haven’t.



We use ever and never if we did not do something at all. But if
    we did it we do not use ever or never but we can say
    Negative             I have not visited my uncle.

   The question here about the visiting lately not over the whole
   life.
