2. Paintings
In order to have transitions between each time
period that The Black Adder visits, the story will
begin in an art museum where he accidentally
trips and falls into a painting and finds himself
in the place and time period of the painting. He
goes back in time through paintings by visiting
the art museums in each location until realizing
that in order to get back home in modern times,
he must paint himself there.
3. The four destinations of the black adder:

5. Second Painting
The Crusaders Reach Jerusalem: Scenes from theGerusalemme Liberata,
1732–39
Designed by Domenico Paradisi (active 1689–1721); Woven at the San
Michele manufactory in Rome under the direction of Pietro Ferloni
7. Fourth Painting
Ivan Vladimirov (1869-1947) was a painter of battle scenes of Russian-Japanese war, the revolution of
1905 and WWI. He worked in police and painted not from someone’s words but from what he saw
with his own eyes. Unfortunately I. Vladimirov finally turned into quite an ordinary battle-painter, who
began to create in the style of mimetic socialist realism (to serve the interests of the Soviet leaders).

16. The Black
Adder
Blackadder: George, the British
Empire at present covers a
quarter of the globe, while the
German Empire consists of a
small sausage factory in
Tanganyika. I hardly think we can
be entirely absolved from blame
on the imperialistic front
Blackadder: Baldrick, I have a
very, very, very cunning plan.
Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox
what used to be Professor of
Cunning at Oxford University
but has moved on, and is
now working for the UN at the
High Commission of
International Cunning
Planning?
Blackadder: Yes, it is.
Baldrick: Mm... That's cunning!
17. Baldrick
Private Baldrick: I have a plan,
sir.
Captain Blackadder: Really,
Baldrick? A cunning and subtle
one?
Private Baldrick: Yes, sir.
Captain Blackadder: As
cunning as a fox who's just
been appointed Professor of
Cunning at Oxford University?
Baldrick: And look, there's a
surprise present inside. It's a
novelty death warrant, and
you give it to a friend.
