Project aim – to evaluate the use of Zinc Oxide and Clay for degradation of
humic acids.
Outcomes:
- MSc dissertation 2010
- Presentation at the UK-China Forum on Nanostructure / Nanotechnologies
for Water
- Proposal for post-doc fellowship

Award £ 10000 Sep 2010
Project aim – to evaluate the use of nano Zinc Oxide and nano Clay for
degradation of pesticides (MSc project 2011).
Outcomes:
- Poster at the Nanotechnology for Water 14/02/11 (KTN & UCL)
- Design of a new photo-reactor
- Research proposal
