One day Harry starts </li></ul><ul><li>Getting mysterious letters from Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. </li></ul><ul><li>Harries aunt and uncle try to hide from Harry </li></ul><ul><li>the fact that he is a wizard. But once Harry’s </li></ul><ul><li>Destiny takes place he is exposed to great power </li></ul><ul><li>and responsibility as wizard. </li></ul>

Religious people challenged the book due to it’s focus on magic and wizardry, which went against many beliefs of certain religions. </li></ul>
  6. 6. My Reaction <ul><li>The Christians opposition to the book is </li></ul><ul><li>understandable. Some people don’t want their children to be influenced by things of that nature. I am sure J.K. Rowling meant no harm, while writing the story. The Christians nor J.K. Rowling are at fault. </li></ul>
