Although these charactereistics are good, it is hurtful to men to believe that they must be these things all the time.
The box teaches men to disrespect women and stay in Good Girl box and be available to men for nurturing, sexual pleasure, and to take care of children and home. Women cannot live up to expectations men get disappointed or angry and can become abusive.
Not all men are violent. There have always been men in our communities and throughout history who have stood up for women’s rights, defended women, and stepped in to support women defending themselves.
