2. • U rated movie is suitable for all. U movie
stands for Universal . U rated movies and
programs are usually aimed at really young
viewers as it has very mild violence and
bad language . The age range is from age
four and above.

3. • PG stands for Parental Guidance this means that the
film is suitable for public viewing but the parent has a
overall choice on what they think is appropriate for
there child to watch at there age. They may use mild
swear words nothing to over the top just light humour .
Movies rated PG such as Harry potter , Star wars.

4. • 12 and 12a movies contain material that are not
suitable for people under the age of 12 yet they still
have to be accompanied by an adult as some scenes
may not be appropriate it has mild swearing in it
such as F*** and mild violent scenes nothing to
excessive and over the top .

5. • A 15 rated movie is only allowed to be
shown to those 15 and over . In a 15
movie you will see strong violence ,
strong language , and sexual nudity .

6. • Films rated 18 are strictly for those 18
and over to watch . You cannot see a 18
rated movie at the cinema unless 18 and
you must have valid proof to confirm your
age. There is use of strong language ,
strong violence , and sexual scenes .
