to drive more growth, increase awareness, refine our branding, and really be influential in the next stage of our
success. Our mentorship programs are a way to gain real-life experiences that will lead to enhancement of
communication and leadership skills, creativity, decision making capabilities.
YouSwoop’s internship program is paid and you can expect to see your compensation reflect the amount of hard
work you put in. Swoopterns also enjoy a great deal of ownership and independence with their day to day
functions while working under the management of Software Testing Manager Kendall Zettlmeier.
Software Testing Intern
YouSwoop is seeking a graphic design intern to join our development department to aid in the design and
development of in-house applications. This is an exciting hands-on opportunity for a programmer to enhance our
existing software while actively participating in the development of new projects.
Key areas of responsibility
Working on a team to find all software defects
Test software builds daily for bugs using key testing strategies
Design test scripts using C# and .NET
Writing SQL Queries and testing Stored Procedures
Design test plans for each project based on technical specifications
Test daily email templates
Report bugs to developers daily
Qualifications
Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Experience with .NET
Experience with SQL
Good understanding of software development process
Good communication skills
Good organizational skills
Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred
Knowledge of testing strategies preferred
Available to work minimum 25 hours a week
