3. Weyerberg
In the first picture you can see
the Weyerberg of
Worpswede. In front of the
Weyerberg there are fields
of corn which are
cultivated by the farmers. In
the background there is a
part of the forest, which we
are describing in the next
picture.
4. Weyerberg
This picture shows the forests
and lawns on top of the
Weyerberg. In Worpswede
there are much green areas
and trees. In Merida there are
mountains too.
5. Teufelsmoor
In this picture you can see the
Teufelsmoor. Around the
water there are many special
flowers and shrubs.
6. Hamme
This is the river called
Hamme. It’s a important river
in Worpswede. In summer the
people can go swimming or
do other things like driving
Kanu.
8. Cornalvo's Natural Park
In this picture you can see
Cornalvo’s Natural Park. Here
there are Oaks, Cork oaks, a
lot of different kinds of
animals and a river called
Guadiana.
9. The Roman bridge
Here you can see the two most
important bridges of Mérida:
the Roman bridge and the
Lusitania bridge which is
under the Roman bridge. You
can see the Guadiana river
too. The Roman bridge was
build 1 year before Christ.
10. Rio Guadiana
In this picture we note the
Guadiana river. It’s a long
river of Spain, which is about
744km long. It runs through
two countries: Spain and
Portugal. It empties into the
Atlantic ocean.
11. Monasterio
Here you can see the
Monastery of Yuste. It was
build in 1408. It’s a very
important monument of
Extremadura, which is on
Caceres. Carlos I of Spain and
V of the Holy Roman Empire
died on it.
