Daily Market Insight
Technical View-
We are in clear uptrend and we should ride
the NIFTY and benchmark stocks on the
long side. DO NOT SHORT NIFTY unless
NIFTY closes below 5820/5800 mark.
We have seen an increasing volume on
NIFTY with a with normal spread which
broke the level of 5826(Fut.) which we
considered as a short term resistance and
made a high of 5928(Fut.) and closed at
5926(Fut.).
NIFTY FUTURE touched the level of 5892
but not able to cross the level of 5890
which we considered as an intraday
support. NIFTY edged up by 18.30 points ,
or 0.31% to 5889.25.
NSE index NIFTY ended with marginal gains
led by Index heavy weight Reliance
Outlook for the day Industries which was Up by 2.1%, where
state owned ONGC was up 1.4%.
Fundamental View-
Intraday traders can go long on NIFTY
NIFTY traded in the flat to positive territory for
above 5926 with the support of
the whole day, led by news that oil ministry may
5916/5902/5890. NIFTY might face
approve the companies investment plans for the
selling pressure at 5950 and 6010
KG-D6 block. Investors bought banking and
technically.
financial shares like SBI, ICICI bank and HDFC
on hopes of rate cut by RBI soon. TATA power INDICES LTP Change % Change
was the best SENSEX performer with a gain of 4

The option data suggests that the market participants are currently
visualizing the 6000 mark on the higher side. Very high CALL writing at
6000 Strike price will stop market to move beyond 6000 mark. On the other
side we can see equal PUT writings on 5400 to 5800 strike price. This
indicates that NIFTY down move would be restricted below 5800 mark. Last
session’s option data indicated that NIFTY can have a range of 5800 and
6000 in near term.
