Introduction to the Texas Long Range Plan for Technology, 2006-2020
The education of students to not only survive, but thrive in the 21 st century society.
The STaR Chart was created as a tool to use to measure the forward growth of schools in Texas toward the ultimate goal of the TLRP.
This tool encompasses 4 key areas.

Educator Preparation and Development
Leadership, Administration, and Instructional Support
Infrastructure for Technology
Although the trend shows a decrease in three out of four areas over the last year, there are still things we can do to drastically improve our ratings and further align ourselves with the technological goals set forth by the state. BUT WHERE DO WE BEGIN?
Educator Preperation and Development is Bauer’s major focus for now.
We can help our students most by first helping ourselves.
We will take two steps back before forging ahead so that more of us are on the same playing field.
