SAVE MUMBAI Although India remains 70-80% rural, it now has the largest urban population in the world – many of whom are slum dwellers. 70% of Mumbaikars live in slums in subhuman conditions. Over 40,000 slums are built on the main water supply pipelines of Mumbai alone.
