Colossae church esp regarding the Person &
Lorship of Christ - “Colossian Heresy”

5. Epaphras – personally travelled 1500 km to
consult Paul in Rome (4:12)

Paul had never visited Colossae (2:1)
Most Probably founded by ?Epaphras (1:4-7; 4:12-
13) who is from Colossae...
possibly meeting in Philemon’s home, who lived in
Colossae (4:9 and Philemon 10)
