9. Why use iPads with CBL?
So what’s different, when you use an iPad in CBL??
Mobile & connected
It re-defines what is a learning space
A complete unit [no extra equipment required!]
A few great apps can do it all!
Students can document the process and produce the
product!

13. CBL & iPad: Plus 10 more downloaded apps.
Why only 10 apps?
Limited choice encourages the choice of open ended software, that is flexible
and has multiple uses.
Less is more!
The use of a small number of apps means that they can be explicitly taught.
Encourages great peer to peer relationships.
Provides a level playing field for student assessment.
A better chance of CBL implementation.
14. CBL & iPad: How were the apps selected?
These apps
are multi-use, open ended, flexible.
can be used for a variety of tasks, not just for CBL.
cover the 21st century skills of curation, collaboration,
critical thinking, mind mapping, creating,
screencasting, publishing.
all have educational tutorials on how to use.
