  3. 3. DEFINITION: <ul><li>An earthquake is a trembling or shaking movement of the Earth's surface. Earthquakes typically result from the movement of faults, quasi-planar zones of deformation within its uppermost layers. </li></ul>

  19. 19. If you are sleeping or watching TV, lie down to the floor or go next to the sofa, chair or big furniture .
  20. 20. Don’t be down the doorframe because it will break and you will die crushed
  21. 21. Don’t go downstairs because you don’t know when it can move and break .
  22. 22. Go to a place where you are in the external wall because you will be safer than when you are in the centre of the room. If you are in a car, go out and stay next to the car
