2. The nucleus of the cell is just like the
host of a party. The nucleus gives out all
of the instructions to the rest of the
organelles just like the host tells the
party planner what they want.
3. The Golgi apparatus is similar to the
sending of the invitations. In the cell the
Golgi apparatus checks and sends out
the completed proteins.
4. The Ribosomes of the cell are just like
the waiters and entertainers at the
party. The Ribosome makes the proteins
to be shipped to other organelles and
cells. They work for the cell just like the
waiters and entertainers work for
parties.
5. Just as every party needs a storage
room to put the extra food and
equipment for the party, the cell’s
Vacuole stores the extra food and water
for the cell.
6. Every party has a security team to
make sure that only people that are
invited get in. The cell’s membrane does
just that. It controls what comes in and
out of the cell.
7. Parties have either dancing or games
that keep the party going and energetic.
The mitochondria of a cell make energy
for the cell. They keep the cell going just
like dancing and games do for a party.
8. After the party the maintenance crew
cleans up all of the garbage from the
party. The cell’s lysosomes clean up
after the cell.
9. The cytoplasm of a cell is like the
party room. The cytoplasm is what all of
the organelles are in. The cytoplasm is a
gel like material which allows the
organelles to move.
10. The endoplasmic reticulum is like the
dance floor at the party. The ribosomes
travel through the Endoplasmic
reticulum, just like the people at the
party are always moving on the dance
floor.
