2. Biography
 - Alfred Hershey was born in Michigan on December 4, 1908
 - He attended Michigan State University to get a B.S. in
Chemistry (1930) He later attended it again and received a
Ph.D. in chemistry (1934)
 - He enjoyed the beach with his family
 -1945 Alfred married Harriet Davidson
 - Hershey had one son named Peter
 - He spent 16 years teaching and researching at the
Washington University
 - Alfred Hershey died May 22, 1997 in Syosset, NY due to
Heart Faliure

 Alfred and his wife, Martha
Chase, worked together to fine
out that DNA was not made up of
genetic material not protein

4. Experiments
 Finding that Alfred found out DNA was gentic
material and not protein there was others.
 He worked on replication of sickness and
viruses
 And all of the genetic material in the viruses
