Application onboarding has become an important factor that could help a wider adoption of an app, increase its usage and generate positive reviews. Companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple have posted guidelines and best practices on creating the best app onboarding experiences. In fact, the onboarding experience is one of the factors evaluated when apps are featured in the app stores. As a result, most new apps feature a series of screens designed to show first-time users what the app does and how to get the best out of it.
