2. Analysis of the Learner
1st Graders
Generally Seven or Eight Years
Old
The class is made up of 20
students. Ten are Caucasian, 5 are
African American, and 5 are Asian
American.
3. Main Objective
By the end of the week, my second grade
class will be able to count and identify of all
the United States coins up to the dollar
amount by adding different coin
amounts, examining the fronts and backs of
the coins, and demonstrating real-life
situations as a group and individually by the
end of the week with 100% accuracy.

• Videos- Digital Storytelling and
Youtube
• Smart board to practice labeling the
different coins
• Different money games that are
interactive and on the computer
• Money Board with Cash Register
