    • The giant panda is a mammal that is classified in the bear family
    • The panda is an endagered species from China
    • Pandas are big animals that have black patches and small ears
  • 3. GIANT PANDA Classification There are two species of panda: Ailuropoda melanoleuca melanoleuca It is black and white and lives in Sichuan Ailuropoda melanoleuca qinlingensis It is dark and light brown and lives in Quinling
  • 4. GIANT PANDA
    • Diet
    • Giant panda is herbivorous and eats bamboo
    • Pandas can’t digest the cellulose of bamboo, so they have to eat so much
    • The bamboo has a little proteins, so it is important that they keep their digestive tract full.

    • Giant panda lives in six regions of China
  • 6. GIANT PANDA Why giant panda is endangered animal? Habitat loss Difficulties in reproduction Panda doesn’t eat because they don’t have enought bamboo Panda doesn’t have babies

    • Protect their habitat negotiating with China government
    • Convince people of the importance of these animals
    • Going to demostrations
