Lansing Way Fresno, CA 93722 (559) 261-4743 | www.gridalternatives.org Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities GRID Alternatives trains and leads teams of volunteers to install solar electric systems for low-income families, in partnership with both nonprofit groups like Habitat for Humanity and local governments. Since piloting this program in 2004, GRID Alternatives has installed 230 solar electric systems throughout California. Over their projected lifetimes, these systems will produce over $3.79 million for low-income families struggling with high energy costs, while offsetting 11,507 tons of CO2 emissions. Becoming a GRID Alternatives sponsor is a great way to demonstrate your company’s commitment to sustainability and community, and to involve your employees in a fun and educational team-building project that provides tangible, long-term benefits to low-income families and the environment. We are both a nonprofit Current Corporate Sponsors include Google (at top), PG&E (above), Wachovia, SunPower, Union Bank, WaMu, organization and a California licensed Salesforce.com, MMA Renewable Ventures, Innovalight, IBEW C-10 electrical contractor, and all of our Local 595, CH2M HILL, ClifBar, ENVIRON International, installation projects are fully Winston & Strawn LLP, Patagonia, RMC Water & Environment, supervised by experienced solar SolarCity and more... installation professionals and follow rigorous safety protocols. Sponsorship levels are based on the number of employees you want to have at your event—see the next page for details. All sponsors receive free solar training at your offices for your volunteers and other interested employees, and we will work with your staff to promote your

Companies can sponsor a regular installation in one of the low- income communities we serve throughout California, or at our annual SOLARTHON event where we install several solar electric systems in one day. Standard “Full House” Sponsorship Sponsorship Level: $5,000 • Room for up to 15 volunteers • Large, dedicated banner on house “Half House” Sponsorship Sponsorship Level: $2,500 • Room for up to 8 volunteers • Small sign on house Basic Sponsorship Sponsorship Level: $1,000 • Room for up to 3 volunteers • No signage At Top: Volunteers from several local corporations at Custom Multi-House Event SOLARTHON 2007 in Oakland installed eight low-income solar Sponsorship Level: $5,000 per house electric systems in one day.
