Snoring is usually a natural noise, but in some cases it is a sign of a health issue. Many

common causes are weight gain and hormonal changes. Pressure on your lungs makes
breathing difficult, and increased relaxation can cause the airways to partially close. The end
result of this may be snoring, which in turn can lessen the oxygen level going to your unborn

Some medications that you obtain by prescription can have a tendency to make you snore.
Medications that are intended to relax the muscles, such as sleeping pills, pain killers,
antihistamines and muscle relaxants, loosen the throat muscles constricting the airway. This
will lead to snoring.To help ease your snoring, try falling asleep with your head in a slightly
raised position. A thick pillow is good a choice to give your head some support. You can also
double up on pillows. Snoring will be less likely when you keep your head elevated and thus
increase the amount of air you take in.
